Hey everyone, stoked to give you the latest updates from the Wendy's Invitational at the Dew tour in Portland Oregon.

Word just came in and we are proud to say that our own local shredder from Graffiti Skate Zone TIMMY KNUTH will be skating in the finals of the
Wendys Invitational this Sat Aug 15 at 4pm on live TV NBC!! Just making it in the cut Timmy finished in 10th in the semifinals edging out some of skateboardings best known pro skaters. Now will be his chance to show his skill on live TV before a rowdy arena crowd in Portland. For this trip Timmy is actually traveling alone and will need everyones support to make the top cut out of 12 final skaters. Either way all of his family here at Graffiti and all of his sponsors are super hyped for him and can't say enough of how hard he has worked to earn this. So stay tuned this Sat to see where he winds up but either way just making it this far is truely amazing. Check the attached photo of him during his run in Portland.

PS: Our GSZ crew will be in downtown Melbourne Friday night celebrating Timmy's accomplishments. Come join us at the street party. Just look for our tent. late, Dan

Timmy Knuth Crooked Grind
Thursday July 23, 2009
As I type this Brevard County’s own Timmy Knuth is on his way to register and participate in his first ever pro series contest. After winning the amateur series of the Free flow tour last year as a long time Graffiti Skate Zone local skate park team rider Timmy was tapped as a wild card entry this year for the pro level of the Dew Tour. The first stop for skateboarding pro in the much anticipated Dew Tour is happening this weekend up in Boston. Timmy will have to qualify on Friday to earn a spot among some of skate boarding’s biggest named pros. Once he qualifies he will then skate along with all the other pre-qualified pros for points to be added all year to determine the overall series winner in Orlando Florida at the Dew Tours annual Playstation Pro finals. This years Dew tour stops will also be televised live on NBC sports as well as several other networks including Fuel and MTV2. For the first time this year the Dew tour will also be apart of the ISF(International skateboarding federation) a skate boarding World championship series which will attract more pro skaters from around the world. So be sure to check your local listings to see if Timmy makes the cut at each stop and watch some of your favorite skaters in one of the largest attended skate boarding event of the year. To see daily updated information about the event and who will be attending along with videos go to www.allisports.com.
Wish him good luck!

Below is a short update and partial list of skaters from the Alli sports webpage with info on this years ISF skate open in Boston:

Ok, all you skate fans, the wait is finally over: the second stop of the Dew Tour, the Skate Open, ISF Skateboarding World Championships, goes down this week in Boston. All the big names are gonna come out to play. On the Park side, you've got last year's winner Chaz Ortiz–all grown up after taking home a Dew Cup and killing it in State of Mind—defending his title against the likes of Sheckler, P-Rod, and Lutzka. While on the Vert side, PLG will be defending his Dew Cup against Burnquist, Bucky, and more, while also keeping an eye on the young set, led by Maloof Money Cup winner Alex Perelson. But, this year things are a little different. Those Dew Tour regulars are going to be joined by a whole group of new-to-Dew-Tour name like Chris Cole, Tommy Sandoval, Dennis Busenitz, Nick Dompierre, and the list goes on. Oh yeah, and Eric Koston is coming along too. Check the full list of Pre-Qualified Skaters. And this is only the beginning - with Open and International Qualifiers going down, this list will grow.
